 That's me, tho I admit it's not a current picture.  I'm one of those annoying people who hide from cameras.  I much prefer to be on the other side of the lens.
Anyway, this was taken at a Mardi Gras Bal, which explains the beads. 
I'm a 34 year old divorced mother, and I work for a wholesale supply company in my hometown, Franklin, LA.  
 
This is my daughter,Kim when she was a page in the Krewe of Teche Mardi Gras Bal. 
Isn't she cute?  She is going to kill me for this.  heh heh heh.  She was only 8 years old at the time, and she loved it.  She's 15 now, and has her own website.  You might want to check it out.
This is the Motley Krewe that I call family, on vacation.  My daughter, two of my sisters, and my brother in law.
I'm on the other side of the camera, where I like to be.  
Every year we gather as many of our extended family as we can and head for Florida.  Then we spend a week lounging around on the beach, catching up on eachother's lives, and generally decompressing from the other 51 weeks of the year.
